Is Barrington Hall licensed for Civil Ceremonies?
Both The Terrace and The Kendal Suite at Barrington Hall are approved civil wedding locations, licensed for both civil weddings and civil partnerships.

Would we need to book our own registrar?
Yes, and we would suggest making this your first priority once you have decided on a venue.

Will ours be the only wedding at your venue for the day?
Yes! You have our complete attention. Your event manager & catering team are solely focused on ensuring your day is perfect for you.

How many people can you accommodate?
Barrington Hall can accommodate weddings and parties for as few as 20-30 people, up to a maximum of 150 guests. Ceremonies are restricted to a maximum of 130 guests.

Is parking available?
Yes, the parking is discreetly positioned parking ensures that none of your wedding photos feature a car park in the background and can easily accommodate around 80 cars which can be left overnight. All cars must be collected by 11am the following day. 

How long can you provisionally hold a date for?
We will be happy to reserve a provisional booking date for you for 2 weeks. We will ensure we have given you the opportunity to view the venue and will answer any questions you may have ahead of making your decision.

Does Barrington Hall have separate rooms for the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception?
Absolutely. For an idea of how you can make the most of our beautiful venue please contact us to arrange a viewing.

What facilities are available if the weather is poor?
Barrington Hall is well prepared for whatever the weather throws at us. We have cosy fireplaces in the house and industrial heaters in the marquee. The marquee is fully functional, complete with catering kitchen, dancefloor, bar and restrooms. There are also plenty of areas for photo opportunities indoors.

Do you have your own caterer?
Yes, we are very pleased to be working with one of the regions best caterers CDC Events for all of our weddings and events. They have the very highest standards in both culinary excellence and food safety. CDC Events are competitively priced and can offer advice on how to best cater for your guests. How many people do your tables seat? 
Our standard round tables comfortably seat between 8 and 10 guests. 

Do you have highchairs? 
We have five high chairs. Should you require more, we can hire these on your behalf.

When can we have access to the venue to decorate?
Access is available from 9:00am on the day of your wedding for set up.

Can we decorate the marquee with additional fairy lights?
Yes, you are welcome to add more fairy lights however we request that they be battery operated only please.

Can we use candles?
Due to safety reasons we must approve the use of candles and would prefer small tea lights in containers.

Can guests throw confetti?
Yes, we request only biodegradable confetti is used.

Can we have fireworks or sky lanterns at your venue?
Due to our rural setting surrounded by farmland and thatched houses, we cannot allow fireworks or sky lanterns.

Can we provide our own drinks?
Barrington Hall has competitive drinks packages with a variety of choice that will keep you refreshed from your Drinks Reception, Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. After your Wedding Breakfast our fully stocked bar is open for cash and card payments.

What time does the bar open and close?
The bar can be opened from the drinks reception through until last orders at 23:30.

What time does the music need to finish?
All music needs to be turned off for 23:30.

Do we need to pack everything up at the end of the night?
You do not, as you enjoy sweet dreams, our fabulous Events Team carefully collect together all your belongings and place them into your prearranged designated area, ready for collection/ breakdown at 11am the next day.
